Thomas Tuchel has named his latest England squad for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers. The Three Lions face Andorra at Villa Park on September 6, before taking on Serbia in Belgrade on September 9. England are currently top of their group, winning each of their opening three qualifiers. Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson has received his very first call up after impressing in the Premier League and for England U21s, whilst there is also a first inclusion for Tottenham defender Djed Spence. But who are the most valuable stars not included in the latest squad? Using Transfermarkt's market values, we have calculated the most valuable players, who are fit and available, who have been left out by Tuchel this September.
The most valuable players left out of latest England squad
The most valuable player who Tuchel could have called upon but chose not to is none other than Manchester City's Phil Foden, who is valued at €100 million, but has been overlooked by Tuchel after not starting either of the Sky Blues opening two Premier League games. The next most valuable omission is new Real Madrid right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is valued at €75m, and has surprisingly been left out, after being benched for Los Blancos latest LaLiga encounter. The third most valuable star not included is Arsenal's 18-year-old midfielder Ethan Nwaneri, who has a market value of €55m.
Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is the next most valuable star left out with a market value of €50m. The 20-year-old is reportedly trying to push for a loan move away from Old Trafford to get more game-time and ultimately get himself back in Tuchel's plans ahead of next summer's World Cup. New Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens also has a market value of €50m and is not in the latest Three Lions squad.
