REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) through PT Garuda Sepak Bola Indonesia (GSI) has officially entered into an exclusive cooperation with EA Sports FC to bring the Indonesian National Team to EA Sports FC Mobile and EA Sports FC 26 games starting May 28, 2026.
The cooperation made Indonesia the first national team from Southeast Asia to officially participate in the EA Sports FC football game franchise. The Indonesian national team will perform with the official jersey, the Garuda emblem, up to the player's face that resembles the original in the game.
EA Sports FC Franchise Director Gerry Yulian said the collaboration will not only bring the Indonesian national team into the game, but will also follow various programs with PSSI in the next few years.
“We and EA Sports FC are going to deliver some in-game and off-game campaigns. Of course, it will be sustainable also with the PSSI road map calendar,” Gerry said during a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday (28/5/2026).
According to Gerry, users will be able to see the characters of the Indonesian national team in both EA Sports FC Mobile and FC 26. “If you see it in the game, in fact everything is already in the game,” he said.
PT GSI Director Marsal Masita said the cooperation will make EA Sports FC the official video game partner of the Indonesian national team for the next two years. He said the achievement was a point of pride for national football.
“Make PSSI proud, because we are the first team in ASEAN to enter EA Sports FC,” Marsal said. He added that the cooperation will also be linked to the Indonesian national team's agenda towards the 2027 Asian Cup. “We will collaborate again with EA Sports to deliver activities that amplify the 2027 Asian Cup,” he said.
