The summer transfer window is approaching quickly on the horizon and clubs are already busy working on deals to acquire their top targets. For most clubs, planning will already be complete and they will have identified which players they want to sign, and which players they want to sell.
Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals this summer. The rumour mill is still gathering pace and we've collated some of the biggest current transfer stories - you can access the full rumour mill below.
Today's biggest transfer stories
Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye is set to spark a three-way battle between Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United this summer. The 26-year-old is at the World Cup with Senegal and the Toffees know that good performances could hike up his asking price. The Merseyside outfit are looking for a fee of at least €55 million.
Tottenham and Brighton are continuing to hold talks over Jan Paul van Hecke and Luka Vuskovic. Spurs want to sign Van Hecke but are not willing to meet the Seagulls' demands, while a €35 million bid for Vuskovic was swiftly rejected. Meanwhile, Brighton have rejected a reported €24 million bid from Coventry City for goalkeeper Carl Rushworth.
Former Bayern Munich team-mates Robert Lewandowski, 37, and Leon Goretzka, 31, could be set for a reunion by moving to MLS outfit Chicago Fire on separate free transfers. The American franchise are keen on adding Lewandowski and Goretzka to their squad. However, the latter is thought to favour staying in Europe for now.
