Over €200m worth of talent - The NEW most valuable Championship starting XI

This week 182 players got their value changed in the latest Championship market value update, as the sixth most valuable division in the world saw a number of ups and downs for its top stars. The English second-flight is renowned for being one of the most entertaining leagues in world football, with fans seldom able to predict the outcome each season. So after the latest changes, which players make the brand new most valuable Championship starting XI? Let's find out.



The most valuable Championship starting XI


In between the sticks we have Stoke City goalkeeper Viktor Johansson. The Swede is currently injured but has been one of the best performing keepers in the Championship this season and saw his market value rise by +€2 million to €12m in the latest update. At centre-half Southampton's Taylor Harwood-Bellis (€20m) lines up alongside Ipswich captain Dara O'Shea (€15m) - both players remained the same value in the latest update. At left-back is Ipswich's Leif Davis (€20m), with Coventry's Milan van Ewijk (€18m) at right-back after a +€2m increase this March.



Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney extended his lead at the top of the market value charts this spring with a +€3m upgrade to take his new value to €28m - he walks into the team. In front of him is Coventry's Jack Rudoni, who went up by €3m to €18m and Southampton's Finn Azaz who remained at the same figure of €18m. Ipswich youngster Sindre Walle Egeli takes the left-wing berth despite a -€2m drop to €18m, with Leicester's exciting winger Abdul Fatawu on the right after a +€4m increase to €24m this March. Birmingham's Jay Stansfield leads the line with a market value of €18m.
