BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The newest member of the Buffalo Bills' extended family has officially arrived, as quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, actress-singer Hailee Steinfeld, announced the birth of their daughter.

The announcement came via Steinfeld's newsletter, Beau Society, on Thursday morning. The subject of the newsletter is "Special delivery ...," and it includes an image of a stork holding a baby in a cloth with a pink heart on it.

"Our baby girl has arrived!! We're feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments," Steinfeld wrote in the newsletter. "Thank you so much for the love and well wishes. Love, Hailee and Josh."

The couple did not share the date of birth or the name of their first child. They announced Dec. 12, 2025, that they were expecting a child after getting married on May 31. Steinfeld, 29, and Allen went public with their relationship in spring 2023. He proposed in November 2024 during the Bills' bye week.

Allen, also 29, shared his excitement over becoming a father in late January following Bills coach Joe Brady's introductory news conference.

"I'm very much looking forward to that with my wife, becoming a dad," Allen said. "It's something that I will take with great pride, and we're going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else. But this is the most important thing I'll ever be in my life, is being a dad. And I know, I love being a football player and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, but I'm looking forward to this one."

The Bills are set to begin the team's offseason program next week under Brady. Allen, going into his ninth NFL season in Buffalo, had offseason surgery on a broken bone in his right foot but is looking to participate.
